I am posting a few still photos of the late Patrick Swayze. I had the pleasure of working with Patrick on a film a few years ago and found him to be a delight to photograph - a true professional on set and a lovely human being. I will certainly never forget drinking a beer with Patrick and crew as we watched the sun rise above the world's largest shopping mall, a surreal experience for sure. You will be missed Patrick....

This is what I love about my life as a photographer. I spend my winters in the tropical paradise of Costa Rica and my summers in the land of the midnight Sun up here in Western Canada.
From time to time I have the pleasure of shooting stills for film productions (see the link under the top image :). The locations are mainly in Western Canada, but my first trip to Costa Rica was on a film shoot back in 2001, and I am happy to say that CR is now my second home.
Have fun checking out a few stills from the hilarious black comedy 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil'. Shot on location in and around the Calgary area...what an epic great time!

Jenny and Darren's wedding at Hotel Villa Caletas had all the right elements for a fun and adventurous night. Fantastic music from one of Costa Rica best ensembles Editus, fireworks and even an impromptu salsa lesson. Larissa and her crew from Weddings Costa Rica did a marvelous job coordinating the event...fun times, and no rain!
